Pursuant to the provisions of art. 75 of Collective bargaining labor agreement, all staff with permanent contracts or with one or more fixed-term contracts of a consecutive duration of at least 6 months will be automatically enrolled in the Sanifonds Trentino Supplementary Health Fund Plan.
Enrollment will be finalized in September, will be effective throughout 2018 and will therefore have retroactive effect.
The annual enrollment fee, amounting to 128 euros, will be paid in full by the employer and will not entail any charges to employees.
The health coverage runs from January 1, 2018 and it is therefore possible to claim reimbursement for healthcare costs incurred from January 1 to December 31, 2018, eligible under the provisions of the Health Plan of the Fund.
The Foundation, in agreement with the Trade Union Organizations and the Governance of "Sanifonds Trentino", is working to extend the possibility of enrolling in the Fund to household members. We will update you as soon as possible.
Employees have the possibility of expressing their will to opt out. To this end, they will request, fill out and submit the dedicated form to the Foundation's Human Resources Service by September 18, 2018.
It is important that you bear in mind that, in the event you opt-out, you will not be able to enroll in the Sanifonds plan until December 31, 2020, considering that the minimum enrollment period is three years.
Employees who are already enrolled in the Sanifonds Trentino Health Plan may inform the Human Resources Service also by September 18, 2018.
We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 9:00 am at the Sala Stringa Hall at Povo, there will be an informative meeting dedicated to all the employees of the Foundationduring which the President and Director of "Sanifonds Trentino" will illustrate how the Fund works (types of expenses eligible for reimbursement, how and when to claim reimbursements) and answer the audience’s questions.
